NICO BOSCACCI SHOWS RESILIENCE AND SPEED IN STRONG TRI-VALLEY QMA WEEKEND

Young Racer Rebounds From Saturday Flip to Earn Podium Finishes Before Scoring Sr. Animal Victory Sunday

LIVERMORE, Calif. — Nicholas “Nico” Boscacci put together a weekend that showcased both his speed and determination at Tri-Valley Quarter Midget Association, overcoming a dramatic setback on Saturday before returning Sunday to score a victory and two additional runner-up finishes.

Saturday’s Sr. Honda main provided the biggest test of the weekend.

Starting fifth, Boscacci had worked his way into contention and was battling for second when his car flipped, bringing his charge toward the front to an abrupt stop.

After being checked out and making sure Nico was okay, the team went to work getting the car back together. When racing resumed, Boscacci found himself restarting all the way back in 11th.

Instead of letting the incident end his day, he went back to work.

Boscacci charged through the field from P11 to finish third, completing an impressive recovery after an incident that could easily have ended his race.

The Sr. Honda comeback was only part of a strong Saturday. Boscacci also recorded runner-up finishes in both Sr. Animal and LT160, giving him three podium finishes on the day.

SUNDAY BRINGS THE WIN

Boscacci returned Sunday and immediately showed that Saturday’s adversity was behind him.

Coming from the back of the field in his Sr. Honda heat race, Nico raced his way forward and took the win, earning the pole position for the main event.

He followed that performance with another strong run in the Sr. Honda feature, finishing second.

Then came the victory the team had been working toward.

Boscacci captured the Sr. Animal main event win, putting an exclamation point on a weekend that began with adversity and ended in Victory Lane.

He also added another second-place finish in LT160, completing Sunday with a win and two runner-up finishes.

Across the two days of competition, Boscacci recorded six podium finishes, including the Sr. Animal victory.

More importantly, the weekend demonstrated something beyond finishing positions. After a hard crash on Saturday, Nico climbed back into the car, restarted near the back of the field and raced his way onto the podium. Less than a day later, he was back competing for wins.

That ability to reset, refocus and keep racing forward made this weekend one to remember.
